Brief module description
The module focuses on the need for skills in operational practice within the retail unit. It pays attention to the situation in retailing Slovakia and the EU in the era of globalization, defines retail, retail outlets identifies various types, their location, spatial resolution and interior solutions. It deals with the issue of category management and merchandising, acquisition of quality human resources as a condition for the successful operation of retail units. Attention is also paid inventories, storage, introduction of new technologies in retail establishments troubled areas of management, retail, business and new trends in the retail business.
