The aim of the course is to provide basic information regarding the rights and protection of consumer interests. To acquaint students with the control bodies ensuring supervision over consumer protection, but also the causes of consumer harm.
Brief module description
Application of selected theoretical and scientific research focused on the consumer and consumption in terms of protection of his rights. Legal regulation of consumer protection in the EU and in the Slovak Republic. Additional consumer protection resulting from membership of the European Union. State consumer protection authorities. Slovak Trade Inspection and its supervision of food safety.
