Optional module
The primary educational objective is to define relations between man and the environment (environment), understanding of the environment as an asset, the criteria for the efficient use of the environment. The course deals with the impact of individual actions on the environment and determine the impact on the environment. It also deals with the concept of sustainable development, the consequences of environmental degradation, their quantification, economic instruments in environmental policy for the individual components of the environment. Brief module description:
The issue of protection of environment environment is a highly current agenda not only here but everywhere in the world, when it has gone beyond the interests of one country. Today there is not any sector of human activity that could be not involved by greater or lesser measure in influencing environment, it does not matter it is soil, water or air. In this module, students will be familiar with that environment components, but also their methods of active and passive protection. We shall teach students about monitoring components of the environment, with the state of environmental quality in different regions. On this basis, we shall develop knowledge in the economic field. It will be a defining stages of economic damages to the environment, their quantification. We shall explain principles of environmental policy in our country for the future, and on the financing of these objectives, we shall discuss economic instruments in environmental policy in selected aquatic environment. At the same time we shall discuss the legal protection of the environment and the impact on the environment. Also we shall focus on the financial and economic aspects of the issues solved.
