Compulsory subject
The main goal of the subject is to provide comprehensive knowledge about approaches in the management of organizations in the context of the latest development tendencies and concepts. Students will acquire knowledge of basic management functions (planning, organizing, leading and controlling.) They will understand the logic and functioning of the organization. Special emphasis in the subject is placed on the acquisition of skills, competences, techniques and knowledge necessary for successful management of the organization. The course content provides an overall view of the organization in the short and long term, setting its goals, analysing the environment, but also developing its strategy. It will enable students to develop plans to effectively achieve organizational goals. Students will acquire skills related to the function of a manager in today's competitive environment. They are familiar with the work of organizations, their development in a changing business environment influenced by political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors.
