Optional module
The primary educational objective of the module is to acquaint students with the principles of Economics and Management in Health Care together with other current theoretical and practical knowledge of given subject.
Regarding theory, students will gain the necessary knowledge of economics and management of Health Care.
Brief course description:
- Introduction to Economics and Management in health care, basic principles.
- Health policy, legal aspects of health care, basic health care systems and their comparison.
- Developments and changes in the health care system in the Slovak Republic, healthcare funding - the budget and the allocation of resources, history and principles of insurance.
- Financial analysis in health care.
- Management and Marketing in Healthcare.
