The aim of the course: Graduates will be able to use Microsoft Excel on an advanced level, beyond the ECDL Syllabus. Will be able to work with advanced mathematical, logical and economic functions, become familiar with the creation and modification of tables and the possibilities of formatting and linking from solution parts. In theory area student obtains the necessary knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Practical skills: student applies theoretical knowledge to solve a specific tasks.
Brief module description:
- One-dimensional analysis of data: simple macros, data sorting, reporting.
- Multi-dimensional analysis of data: import files, the names in a cell, PivotTables.
- Using financial functions.
- The automated processing of data: structured applications, search functions, arithmetic functions, filtering data controls.
- Finding information - the function of find, an indirect reference, search settings, pivot tables.
- Basic procedures - analysis such as drill-down, dynamic filtering.
- Linking solution.
