We are delighted to celebrate the success of the IDIMT – Interdisciplinary Information Management Talks conference, in whose organisation the Faculty of Business Economics with seat in Košice of the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA) participated in cooperation with other universities. The conference took place on 2–4 September 2026 in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic.
This year, PHF students once again actively participated in the 103rd edition of the Košice Peace Marathon, the oldest marathon in Europe. They competed in the half marathon and relay disciplines, and they deserve well-earned praise for their performances.
Our PHF students had a unique opportunity to join the Vranovčan Folklore Ensemble on an international tour, during which they represented Slovak culture and traditions in the United States.

At the opening ceremony of the 2026/2027 academic year, Miriam Gajdošová of the Faculty of Business Economics with seat in Košice, University of Economics in Bratislava, won third place in the Rector’s Award for Student Scientific and Professional Activity in the first-cycle study category.
On 25 September 2026, OC OPTIMA in Košice comes alive with science. The 20th anniversary edition of the European Researchers’ Night brings more than 60 scientific stands, lectures, experiments and a wide range of interactive activities to Košice.
On 21 September 2026, we officially opened the new academic year 2026/2027 at the Educational Center in Michalovce of the Faculty of Business Economics.
The holidays are behind us, and we kicked off the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year with a symbolic shot on goal—right inside Košice's Steel Aréna. The ice was packed with determination, teamwork, and spirit—values that will guide us not only through the upcoming semester, but also during this year as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of business economics education in Košice.
The Dean of PHF EU is currently participating in an Erasmus+ mobility at the University of Malta, where he visited the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy.
Three days of inspiring discussions, fresh perspectives, and international encounters. From 2 to 4 September 2026, Hradec Králové hosted the 34th International Scientific Conference IDIMT – Interdisciplinary Information Management Talks, organised by our Faculty.
This year’s conference, centred around the theme “Resilience: ICT, Business and Society,”addressed current issues and brought new perspectives on the challenges connecting information technologies, business, and society. Once again, IDIMT provided a platform for presenting research findings, engaging in expert discussions, and exchanging knowledge within an international academic environment.

On 29 June 2026, the Faculty of Business Economics of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business with seat in Košice held a ceremonial graduation for its Bachelor's and Engineering degree graduates.
Among the PHF (Faculty of Business Economics) freshmen is a talented athlete, Maroš Dudra, who competes in two unconventional sports – orienteering and motocross.
