On November 20, 2025, dozens of students from more than 16 secondary schools from the Košice and Prešov regions came to our PHF EU in Košice to “experience a day as a university student” – and you could feel it in every single seat. ??
A real university lecture in the course Business in Trade and Services drew them into the world of brands and products: they asked questions, debated, explored why some brands stay strong for years while others disappear, and how artificial intelligence helps companies predict what will sell in the coming years. There was our “silent alarm clock of the future”, plenty of up-to-date business examples, and insights from our own students, who actively took part in the class.
In the final part of the programme, they discovered what our accredited bachelor’s study programmes offer –Business Economics and Management, Commercial Entrepreneurship, Bachelor in Business Economics and Management (Michalovce, in English) and Bachelor in Commercial Entrepreneurship (Košice, in English) – all provided by the Faculty of Business Economics of the University of Economics in Bratislava, with seat in Košice (PHF EU). They also learned what concrete steps are needed to turn today’s secondary school student into tomorrow’s PHF EU undergraduate.
The atmosphere was fantastic – lots of questions, inspiring discussions and, for many, their very first real feeling of what it is like to sit in a university lecture hall. ? We truly appreciate that you came, that you trust us, and that you spent this day with us. A big THANK YOU also goes to the teachers who accompanied the students – we believe that, thanks to you, today’s visit may become the beginning of a great university story in Košice.
