WAKO World Kickboxing Championships 2025

Our doctoral student represented Slovakia and the faculty at the world level!
She took home a bronze medal in the K1 women's category at the WAKO World Kickboxing Championships, which took place from 21 to 30 November 2025 in Abu Dhabi.
Out of a total of more than 2,200 athletes from around the world, the Slovak team of ten competitors achieved great success - bringing home three bronze and one gold medal.
Congratulations and thank you for the beautiful representation of the faculty and Slovakia.
