On November 26–28, 2025, the final meeting of the MachineLearnAthon project took place in the High Tatras,
attended by foreign partners from Germany, the Netherlands, and Estonia. The meeting was devoted to a comprehensive evaluation of the project's implementation, its main outputs, and the results achieved.
During the meeting, the project outputs were presented and discussed, which included, in particular, the design and implementation of practical educational challenges in the field of machine learning, working with real data, as well as the preparation of micro-lectures and tutorials for participants with varying levels of analytical and digital skills. Special attention was paid to evaluating participant feedback, which provided valuable input for the further development of the project's didactic concept.
The MachineLearnAthon project focused on supporting practical education in the field of machine learning and data analytics with an emphasis on real-world data applications. Its goal was to link theoretical knowledge with practical tasks and contribute to innovative forms of teaching in the field of modern data methods.
The final meeting also confirmed the importance of international cooperation, as the project continues seamlessly in a follow-up joint project implemented with the same partner institutions from Germany, the Netherlands, and Estonia.
