This year, our faculty once again embraces the spirit of sustainability, creativity, and positive energy. Third-year EaMP students in Košice and Michalovce organized events that combine environmental thinking with the faculty’s community life.
The first of these was the Green Faculty Day at PHF in Košice, held on April 8, 2026, offering a rich program focused on ecological activities and creativity. Participants had the opportunity to exchange plants or clothing, giving items a second chance. There was also a creative workshop where students could relax while painting stones or making decorations from recycled materials. We were also pleased to welcome students from the Private Combined School EDUCO in Námestovo. The event was supported by TPA Slovakia and Wantee, to whom we express our sincere thanks.
This activity was followed on April 10, 2026, by the event “Green Faculty – Green Table” held at the PHF Educational Center in Michalovce. Here, the idea of sustainability and sharing played a central role, too. The main part of the event was the creation of a symbolic “green table,” signed by all participants as a sign of a shared commitment to sustainability and the values of PHF. Thanks also go to Pestucci - Restaurant & Pub, Michalovce, for their active support of this event.
The Green Faculty Days show that even small steps can lead to big changes. PHF thus promotes environmentally responsible behavior and the development of a modern, responsible academic community.
