The 30th faculty round of the Student Scientific and Professional Activities (ŠVOČ) at PHF EU in Bratislava was held on May 6, 2026.
Knowledge, Creativity, and Scientific Passion: 30th Anniversary of the Student Research Conference (ŠVOČ).The 30th anniversary of the faculty round of the Student Research Conference (ŠVOČ) 2025/2026 at PHF EUBA was marked by the knowledge, creativity, and scientific enthusiasm of our students. Undergraduate and graduate students presented a total of seven inspiring topics. The expert jury, composed of faculty members and student representatives, faced the challenging task of selecting the three best papers, which received financial awards for their quality and execution. The top-ranking works from both levels of study will now proceed to compete in the university-wide round of the conference.
First place was awarded to Bc. Radovan Nevlaha (2nd level of study) for his topical work, Artificial Intelligence as a Determinant of a New Era in Corporate Efficiency. Second place went to student Miriam Gajdošová (1st level of study), who analyzed Interest Rates of Selected Business Loans and Their Dependence on Consumer Price Trends. Third place was secured by Bc. Soňa Mahdalová (2nd level of study) for her research on Motivational and Development Factors Influencing Employee Retention.
