European Researchers’ Night 2026: “How Can We Shape Our Future?”

On 25 September 2026, OC OPTIMA in Košice comes alive with science. The 20th anniversary edition of the European Researchers’ Night brings more than 60 scientific stands, lectures, experiments and a wide range of interactive activities to Košice.

This year’s theme, “The Power of Science – How Can We Shape Our Future?”, highlights the importance of knowledge, critical thinking and fact-based decision-making. At our stand, we show that economics does not have to be all about theory, graphs and numbers. We have prepared interactive games, challenges and activities that allow visitors to test their economic thinking, decision-making skills and knowledge – while having fun along the way. Our PhD students and colleagues are also presenting study opportunities at the Faculty of Business Economics in Michalovce, University of Economics in Bratislava (PHF EU) and showing how economic knowledge connects with entrepreneurship, management, marketing and everyday life.
