On the 15th and 16th of May, our colleagues attended a working meeting for the MachineLearnAthon project at the University of Tartu in Estonia.
From 12. 5. to 14. 5. our colleagues participated in the final international meeting of the EXPERTISE project, which was held at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
At the meeting of the Rector's College of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business on May 21, 2025, the Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, Prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD., solemnly presented the decrees on the awarding of the scientific and pedagogical title of associate professor to two newly appointed associate professors from the Faculty of Business Economics with seat in Košice, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Zuzana Kudlová, PhD. and Assoc. Prof. Ing. Jozef Lukáč, PhD.
At today's ceremonial evaluation of the competition of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors - Regional Council Košice for the best diploma thesis in the field of taxation - the thesis of Bc. Tomáš Benko and the thesis supervisor Assoc. Prof. Ing. Jana Simonidesová, PhD. was declared the best diploma thesis. Congratulations!
The 29th faculty round of student scientific and professional activities at PHF EUBA in Bratislava took place on 7.5.2025.
The important foreign International Scientific Conference was held from April 24 to May 1, 2025 in the metropolis of innovation - Dubai, United Arab Emirates and brought together top experts, researchers and representatives of prominent institutions from across Europe and beyond.
On April 10, 2025, a unique creative morning was held at PHF EUBA, during which students could enjoy relaxing while painting Easter mugs and eggs.

On March 27, 2025, we participated with students in the Open Day at KPMG Slovakia.
Even small actions can have a big impact – and we proved it these days! We started the Green Faculty Days on 20. 03. 2025, the first day of spring at the PHF EUBA in Košice, and on 24. 03. 2025, we successfully concluded them together at the Educational Center in Michalovce. These days were full of greenery, symbolism and nice ideas.
Cooperation between the Bratislava University of Economics and Business (Faculty of Business Economics in Košice) and partner secondary schools is focused on high-quality preparation of students for economic and technical-economic practice.
