The Faculty of Business Economics with seat in Košice, as well as the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, places a strong emphasis on the continuous enhancement of the quality of the teaching process. Our aim is to create a stimulating academic environment that reflects students’ needs and current trends in economic practice. A key instrument in achieving this goal is the regular student survey, which allows us to identify both the strengths of teaching and areas requiring improvement.
The survey is conducted entirely anonymously, and the results are analysed by the faculty management and individual departments after the examination period. The findings serve as a basis for evaluating teaching performance and form part of the internal system for quality assurance in higher education.
Based on the analysis of questionnaire responses for the 2025/2026 academic year, it can be concluded that students evaluate the quality of the teaching process positively. Among the most frequently highlighted aspects are the professional and supportive approach of the teaching staff, their willingness to provide consultations, and their efforts to link theory with practical projects and modern tools, including artificial intelligence (AI).
In response to students’ suggestions, the faculty has implemented measures to further improve teaching quality. Attention is focused on optimising the content of study programmes to reduce superfluous theoretical material while simultaneously developing analytical skills applicable in practice. There is also an ongoing programme to modernise computing facilities and update software resources to eliminate technical barriers to completing study requirements. Faculty management additionally supports the introduction of innovative and interactive teaching methods, which facilitate active student engagement in the learning process.
The management of the School of Business Administration would like to thank all students who participated in the survey. Your feedback represents a significant contribution to the continuous development of our academic environment.
