The Bratislava University of Economics and Business offers its students the opportunity to study at partner universities outside Europe. Although the studies are without a grant, but as our student you do not pay tuition fees.

The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic (NSP) is a scholarship program, the establishment of which was approved by the Government of the Slovak Republic by Resolution no. 557 of 13 July 2005. The Government of the Slovak Republic decided on the continuation of the NSP by Resolution no. 317 of 29 April 2009. The scholarship program is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic. SAIA, n. o., administratively provides the National Scholarship Programme on the basis of an agreement concluded between the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and SAIA, n.o. about. NSP scholarship holders are scholarship holders of the Government of the Slovak Republic.
Scholarships are intended for students and doctoral students of Slovak universities (even if the doctoral study is carried out at an external educational institution in accordance with the Act on Higher Education Institutions, eg SAS) and postdoctoral students working at Slovak universities and research organizations with permanent residence in Slovakia, to cover the living costs of a study and / or research / artistic stay during the 2nd level of higher education (master's / doctoral study), a study and / or research / artistic stay during a doctoral study or a research stay for postdoctoral students at a selected foreign university, or research organization. Applicants can obtain detailed information about the program on the official website of the program www.stipendia.sk, or www.scholarships.sk.
The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic is also intended to support the mobility of foreign students, doctoral students, university teachers, researchers and artists for stays at Slovak universities and research organizations. Citizens of any country in the world can apply for the scholarship.

University of Huddersfield
- in addition to the Slovak bachelor's degree from FBE EUBA, you can also obtain the English bachelor's degree Bachelor of Arts with Honors, abbreviated BA (Hons.),
- you study the first two years at FBE EUBA, the third at the University of Huddersfield,
- you don't have to pay tuition for 3 years, but only for one, because the University of Huddersfield will recognize your first two years at FBE EUBA,
- you do not have to repeat a year or interrupt your studies, because upon your return we will recognize your third year from the University of Huddersfield.

Within the framework of the Action Austria - Slovakia, cooperation in science and education, call for applications for scholarships and project cooperation for stays in Austria is currently open.
Those interested in SCHOLARSHIP STAY in Austria can apply in the following categories:
- Scholarships for 2nd-level university students to prepare a diploma thesis (1 150 Eur/month),
- Research scholarships for doctoral students (1 150 Eur/month),
- Research scholarships for scientific and pedagogical workers within 10 years of completing their PhD. / non-habilitated (1 400 Eur/month).
The main schedule of this call is:
- Application deadline: 15/10/2023
- Selection of scholarship recipients: early December
- Start of stay: no earlier than three months from the closing date
In the category of short-term scholarships (stays of 1-3 days; 90 Eur/day), applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Students, doctoral students, scientific and teaching staff from state, public or private universities in Slovakia and the Slovak Academy of Sciences can apply for the scholarship.
In PROJECT COOPERATION, you can apply in the following categories:
- targeted project support – is about strengthening cooperation between Slovakia and Austria in important areas of higher education and research. Currently, projects from the following areas can be supported: the organization of Austrian-Slovak summer language courses ("Sommerkollegs"), the organization of Austrian-Slovak trainings and doctorates under double supervision (max. 60 000 Eur for 36 months, but max. EUR 20,000 per year - 12 consecutive months),
- support of initiative projects - within this area of support, project partners choose the topics and activities they need to fulfill their goals (the so-called "bottom-up" approach), while these projects must be in line with the goals of the Action (max. 6 000 Eur per year - 12 consecutive months).
The basic schedule of this call is:
- Application deadline: 15/10/2023
- Project approval: early December
- Start of project implementation: no earlier than four months from the closing date

The CEEPUS program is a multi-state exchange program, specially adapted to the needs of countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. Its goal is to provide new impulses for the international exchange of students and teachers and thus reduce asymmetric development in this region. Program enables development of cooperation between Slovak and foreign universities by creating academic networks, within which scientific and research cooperation takes place and the mobility of students, doctoral students and university teachers is realized. It is financed from the state budget on the basis of agreements of the ministries of education of the countries participating in the program.
Following countries are currently activitely participating in the program: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech republic, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
SAIA, n. o. is the National agency of the CEEPUS program in Slovakia. The agency regularly inform about current rules of implementation of the program (networks of cooperating universities, grant contributions, application deadlines...) on its website www.saia.sk.

Students of the University of Economics in Bratislava have the opportunity to participate in an internship abroad through the Erasmus + programme even after graduation. Under the Erasmus+ programme, students can complete internships in companies abroad. The length of the internship is set to at least 2 months and is intended for students of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business.
After graduation, it is possible to complete an Erasmus+ graduate internship, which is applied for through the WorkSpace Europe.
The internship can be completed in any company, provided that the scope of work falls under the field of economy or economics and there is no cross-financing from European Union resources (enterprise or organization must not be directly financed from European Union resources).

All students applying for mobility must be registered in the Study Abroad online application at https://www.studyabroad.sk/ , must create an internship application for academic year 2025/2026, as well as upload all necessary documents.
In addition, they must submit a completed and signed application for an 2025/2026 internship to Ing. Matej Hudák, PhD.
The deadlines for submitting applications for internships in the academic year 2025/2026 are:
- October 15, 2025,
- December 15, 2025,
- March 15, 2026,
- May 15, 2026 (departure until September 2025).

Erasmus + is a European Union mobility programme funded by the European Commission. It aims to modernize and improve the quality of higher education in Europe and elsewhere in the world. It gives university students and staff the opportunity to improve their skills and expand their employment opportunities after graduation. Mobility in the Erasmus + programme is implemented on the basis of the so-called key actions. The key action KA103 offers the opportunity to travel for mobility within Europe (all EU Member States and non-EU Member States - Macedonia, Turkey, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway).
